How do I upload my promo song to GR's FTP server? |

PLEASE FTP THE FILES. Some instructions below. Contact us if you need help. FIRST AND FOREMOST: We are glad to check out your promos. We appreciate you considering us for the airplay. We will add any song appropriate for the station. This does not include all promos sent to us. We are looking for the correct genre, quality and of course enjoyment value. Thanks for keeping this in mind. INFO TO INCLUDE WITH SONGS (NOT MIX SET DEMOS): Please provide the following if available. You can either embed this data in the music file (Recommended) or upload the data in a text file. There is a template file on the FTP server for you to use. As long as we get it so proper credit/promotion is given. Give us what data you can. Thanks.
CONNECTING: BEFORE YOU CONNECT, CONTACT US FOR THE FTP SERVER PASSWORD. We don't want everyone on the server so we keep it password protected. Open "My Computer" and type the address in the address bar. Press enter to connect. **Internet Explorer will connect to an FTP server but will not upload**. FYI: "My Computer", "My Documents" and "Windows Explorer" are all the same program and can all be used to upload your files to a FTP server.  Type in the login provided. Uncheck "Log in anonymously" if it is checked. Click the "Log In" button to complete your login.  TRANSFERRING FILES: You should now be connected and you can copy files to the server and download from the server. You can drag and drop files back and forth or copy and paste files. Create a folder for your uploads. Upload the files with the appropriate data files and images if any. Last, use the contact form and let us know to check out the uploads. |
